Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Bard's Hall Contest - January 2025
Even if you don't make it, if I keep running it past year 10 (no guarantee), I'll probably go back to the regular rewards of 500k for each person, 100 or more MBs/CRs, and other assorted random things life raffle tickets or getting their contests guaranteed slots in the challenge for that year.

Fun Fact: The Determination MB was created by Soldier_Mike when I offered them the chance to make an exclusive MB. He wanted to make one for the whole community. He designed and named it, himself, and I paid for it as one of his rewards a few years ago.

Even if you don't manage to make it for year 10, you'll still be way ahead of where you are now and will have probably earned a lot of Newsfeed Celebrations which get you more CRs, though the ones for finishing a year only guarantee 5 MBs. But usually people get 12-15, so it's still a very nice way to celebrate. *Heart*

Good luck with your catching up! I believe in you!!! You might want to do the math to see how many contests you need to enter. Then see how you can make the work easier. Consider things like submitting multiple entries to contests that have been highlighted multiple times and allow more than 1 entry per round. That way, while you're in the headspace, you can write several things from the same prompt. Also, some folks find writing poetry much faster. An interesting way to knock out months is by reading the prompts to various contests and see where you can crossover, writing 1 entry for 2 contests. Most say it must be newly written for that contest, but I don't know that any say it can't also be entered in another contest. lol So, if you have a broad prompt like "a horrible night," that can easily be combined with other things like writing about a birthday party. Maybe the character has everyone forget their birthday, for example, and they consider it a horrible night. #TipsAndTricks Hahaha!
