I’ve always found anima band storylines very uncomfortable, because the very idea of an anima band trends very close to a horror scenario, especially in the situations that Will tends to put them on. There are almost no parts of this story I haven’t reread at least 3 times, some a lot more, but the anima storylines are some of the only ones I’ve only ever read once. The only one I don’t get that feeling from is "A Secret Change of Plans" , and that’s only because Will willingly puts it on with full understanding of what he’s doing and that Joe would never leave the band on him longer than absolutely necessary.
