Let's see if I can explain better. True Awardicons, as created and available from the WDC system, can be ribbons or plaques. (See entry:699180} for more on Awardicons. Though it looks like a plaque, the item awarded to Gervic was not an actual Awardicon, but was a dowloadable award that he can save as an image for use in a signature or some other part of his Portfolio. It was given to him by iKïyå§ama  and the Angel Army as recognition for some aspect or event fulfilled as part of the Angel Army. I've received similar rewards for being the top reviewer for a given month by the Angel Army or some other group. Such items as these do not count toward Community Recognition.I hope this helps.   |
