After clearing the queue, it does require a page refresh to reset the info for queues on that current page (or any other pages loaded in another tab, browser, etc).

Did you try that?

I was just testing it and that seems to work OK. To make it workable and not terrible slow, queue info is loaded with the page. So when you clear the queue, it doesn't automatically refresh the content of the page you're currently on. I don't like the idea of forcing a page reload after clearing the queue because that could lead to accidental loss of data for someone not anticipating the page reloading...
