I haven't done this before because I thought I was allergic to setting goals. Today I realised that I do that naturally so I might as well demonstrate my method here. There are certain things I do every day and these can be regarded as my unbreakable goals.
1. Sign in to WdC.
2. Write a poem for Express It In Eight.
3. Write a post or comment for the Newsfeed.
4. Review at least one work for another writer.
These are, of course, to ensure that I get the appropriate weekly merit badges, although I was doing the first two anyway. Then there are the extra things, the less definite matters. Like writing a short story, for instance. This is much more dependent on inspiration and mood, however, and I am hesitant to include it as a goal. That seems to me more like setting myself up for failure. I might decide to add it to the goals list at some time in the future but not right now. Let me enjoy the inevitable success of the four already stated first!
