I had big plans to write one story by hand and one by typing this year. I write by hand a bit, as you can do it just about anywhere.
However, for reasons too weird to get into, all my stories (and there's a few this year) are being typed.
This does mean I need to be careful to differentiate in my head. Normally going from typing to writing is a simple matter of changing the medium so the brain switches as well.
I do like to write by hand, but at the moment it is not a viable option.
As for voice to text? None of them handle an Australian accent real well. WHile I don't think my accent is that deep, it is still enough that mistakes are made.
No, let me type (I've switch grammar checkers off now - all of them, as in ALL, are useless, including those expensive ones like Grammarly) and let MS Word find my numerous typos (the 'o' key on my keyboard is sticky!). It's too late to go to stories by hand for NaNo this year, but I will for the work I start after November.
