October Novel Prep Challenge

Oh, in Staten Island they are, Brandiwyn🎶 .

B&B room with boxspring bed, actual duvet (hate the sheets you Yanks sleep in; feels like sleeping in a straight jacket to a European), attached kitchen (with functioning/usable kitchen gear), NO bed bugs, sterile clean bath, a breakfast by the host in which's face some of expensive hotels in Manhattan would pale with envy...

for 80 $ / night.

BUT: I wasn't there for research primarily – for that NYC is really too expensive – but to celebrate my 40th birthday.

The research just kind of did itself... making me explore places I never would've (Queens, The Bronx, Staten Island) if it wasn't for my novel series.

New York beyond Manhattan and Brooklyn is DEFINITELY worth a visit, or two, or twenty (the city is BIG!)
