I'm at least fortunate that I'm building a fantasy world based on Scandinavia rather than sticking specifically to their folklore. I'm ultimately inspired by the cartoon, and Snow Queen's a very Christian story by a very strange Danish man. But I still want it to feel like a Scandinavian-tinged world.
