Those who want their Protagonist Backstory judged you have less than an hour to submit it in the Contest Round Entry as well as the usual posting.

To do a timer of 25 minutes, I type "25 minutes from now" on Google.

I like to use Calculat.IO

Quickly look at the time and jot it down.

In my case, it's 00:46.

Then copy this code: {code:countdown ('10/06/2024 00:46')}

Make sure it's adhering to WDC Time. The site will always use your computer time so you will need to do the calculations yourself and if you can't, use the world time conversion. *Laugh*

Time zones can be rather tricky.

So now you already have a timer set to 25 minutes from now. But you know, it takes minutes to do this so it is crucial that you jot down the time immediately.

Add all the bolding and font colour as per usual. And you are good to go.

Most importantly, have fun!

Sorry I couldn't be there to do the timer for you for this forum as and when is needed, but this is a fun thing to learn. Am I too geeky? *Shock2*

I took ten minutes to type this message, hence this is why the timer is this way. *Laugh*

Yes! Use the "code:countdown()" function in WritingML.

For example, the submissions deadline for the next Contest Round is:

{code:countdown('10/13/2024 12:00 PM')}

And the result looks like this:
