The inspiration behind the "What if?"
Hello everyone,

We are not far from the start of the season. By this time tomorrow, PrepMo will be in full swing, and many of us will be faced with the question "What if?"

But sometimes simply asking "what if?" isn't strong enough. For October and November, personally, I find that my best efforts are when I am truly inspired for something. People in the writing community talk about discipline when it comes to writing. Having schedule and habit can make the writing stronger. Personally, though, I feel as though inspiration is the jet fuel that can make discipline easier. And for myself, it comes from writing what you love. If you can talk about your story, your eyes are glowing from excitement, and etc, that's what makes my Novembers successful. And so now I have a question for everyone, to take into account as their planning for the next day.

What are some things that you're interested in outside of writing that you think about all the time? Furthermore, what are some "what if?" statements you can ask about those things? Start small if you need to.

Good luck, everyone. I hope you all have a successful month. Furthermore, if you've signed up this year for prep, regardless of how far you get, I want you to pat yourself on the back.

It doesn't matter what you do; starting is the most important part of the writing journey.

Write on,
