Well, the entry format for the challenge is wrong, but that's fine. Most new folks enter wrong. I do my best to give credit when I can. I once had a person do an ENTIRE YEAR of entries incorrectly. Each month, I tried to explain in a different way how to create a correct entry. I could see they were entering the contests, but they weren't posting here correctly -- 12 times in a row! But I gave her credit because she WAS entering...
Anyway, I don't need the link to the contest or to your entry. That only proves you wrote something and you can link to a contest. I need proof you ENTERED the contest. You do that by linking to your contest entry post in the contest forum. You do that with {post:#######}. So, for example, to post a link to your post on here, looking at the post number in the upper right corner of your original post, I see the post number is 3672504. So, you would write {post:3672504} which gets you "Horror Writing Contest: Another Lost Victim August 2024" . Luckily for you, since it's YOUR post, if you come here pretty soon after posting the entry, you just start the link and when you get to the colon, if you have decent internet, you'll see your last several posts pop up and you don't need to copy the post number.
Anyway, I'll still give you credit. WELCOME TO THE CHALLENGE! Good luck with your entry!
