Not fumbling at all. If anything, you have made me want to dip my toe in the Huxley Pond. I'm not sure whether I would like it, but it just sounds interesting.

Many (many, many!) years ago, when I was studying for my A Levels, we read "1984" alongside "The Handmaid's Tale," and my teacher suggested I read this book as well. I found a used copy at book sale and bought it. But, then, I never quite got around to reading it. It seemed a little too far into sci fi when I flicked through the pages.
