Noticing Newbies

Hello, I’m Hermit in name and spirit. I’m here looking for a bit of community so that I might feel more motivated to learn and complete some writing. I’m inexperienced and have struggled to follow through on my ideas. Though I’m not confident with writing, I am confident with drawing. I used to want to pursue jobs in art, but fell out of it at the thought of being an art “workhorse”. Then somehow I became interested in narrative design in video games. While I am still interested in that path, I find myself just simply wanting to write stories - to recreate the feeling I get from other people’s stories for someone else.

Anyway, thank you for letting me introduce myself. I’m pleased to be here. I’m also just surprised to find a fun online place like this!
