I turn on the air-conditioner when I can't really stand it. These days, heat advisory came up again, but really, Malaysia is hot all year round. It's either hot or raining. We seldom get cool weather.
What people usually do is they will go up the mountains where it is cooling, about 24 degrees Celsius. They are places like Genting Highlands, Cameron Highlands or Frasers Hill. We met a Singaporean elderly couple recently. They apparently come to Malaysia and stay in Genting for about five days if it got too hot in Singapore. Looking at our weak currency, it's definitely the way to go.
If anyone could afford it, definitely get a house on the mountains where there is no landslide. Yup.
