Hi Chrys. It is nice to meet you.

I have also been a member of WDC for a very, very long time and at times has felt like a safe place to belong. Although I haven't any grandchildren yet, my youngest of three children flew the coop during 2023 and so I am still getting used to the idea of not having them around. Feels weird. My wife of 32 years is a contract nurse working in the outback with the aged while I commute three hours a day working at a desk job. (Plenty of time to read).

For most of my life I have been writing, but not yet published. Still, I get the chance to live in a world created by me to allow me to decide what happens to whom and when. Love it. I enjoy most genres and am wanting to try and combine genres that are believable and ring true. After all, I know what I want to say but not quite how to say it without sounding too cliched.

I am looking forward to the next 6 weeks and to have my words sound a little more authentic and somewhat original/creative.
