Thanks for the review (and I know how you feel about straying from the reading order. I felt that way too, but once I did stray, I found it quite freeing). This book sounds complicated. 40 narrators? I've just read a book with six, and I thought that was extreme I still don't know what I will read for the South American month. A lot of the books I've found seem quite heavy-going.
