Goals: Moving into uncertainty (2024.05.13)
by Tobber
This week has the potential to become both one of the best writing weeks I've ever had or one of the worst.

My youngest is going to spend more time in daycare, which could free up a lot of time for writing. Then again, they might call and say she's not ready to stay there for half the day yet, disrupting all my plans. Or, there might be a lot more practical stuff need doing at home than I realize before I start back at work. Also, my oldest is currently ill, and if that continues the next couple of days, I'll just end up spending all my spare time taking care of her instead.

So, yeah, it's really difficult setting realistic but ambitious goals this week, but here goes.

*Box* Write every day: Same top priority as always.

*Box* Complete two more entries for the Stupefying Stories contest: We're talking micro ficiton here, so that should definitely be doable.

*Box* Continue writing on my Lodestar entry: If I can figure out that tricky middle part, this should also be quite doable.

*Box* Keep doing my vocal exercises: Again, making this a fluffy goal. I'm definitely aiming for more than two times doing the week, but we'll see what I end up with.

*Box* Do a review: Something that should be achievable if all goes well but will quickly drop off the to-do list if I have the kind of week I fear I might end up with.
