Yes! *Bigsmile* It was different from anything I'd read before. I actually sent the author an email message in November after reading their NaNo Pep Talk and checking out their books-- they mostly write books for queer/trans kids & young adults. They replied to my message within fifteen minutes! *Shock* It was a sweet thank-you for my message and compliments, but it meant a lot to me.

I expected this to be a lesbian romance based on the cover, but the young womens' feelings for each other don't surface until the last couple chapters, and it was just mutual love and support, not lust or anything, lol.

Of course, now if people read it because of my review and they don't love it, too...well, their loss, I guess. *Wink*
