Does your Kindle have accessibility features. Or is there a way to get it to read to you? If so, you can listen while doing tasks. If I simply listened without doing something else, I wouldn't get anything done. I would however have read a huge amount of books while doing nothing.

If it's something I need to concentrate on I pay better attention. Sometimes I do nothing and listen.
