I might have only finished this book because one of the characters was from Argentina so it qualified for the June theme here. This book was not the most exciting, for sure. But it was mildly interesting and things did pick up about 50% of the way in.
Spoiler.... the young woman from Argentina did go back there and I did like her big family and the bits of Argentinian culture shared in how she related to her father throughout the book (except for lying to him).
Definitely I should have stuck with my original plan for June's themes. C'est la vie.
