Thanks for the review. I read this book a couple of years ago, and I wasn't sure how I felt about it. I agree that it's a great look at racism and how it was changing with time. But I didn't really like any of the characters, apart from Uncle Jack. He was cool. The book is very much of its time, and it's definitely worth reading. I'm glad I did. I just, I don't know. It's not another 'Mockingbird.'
