This really isn't a book for everyone. It's got a very specific niche. And then, within that niche, only people who want, or at least are okay with things being laid out logically and directly (vs compassionately and with lots of stories). But it's a good one for me. I might read it yearly or every few years. I bought the audio book for that. Once I read the paper copy, I feel like audio books are good for refreshers. I don't think I absorb as much from them for a first reading though.
It does cover things like depression and anxiety. Not in a great way sometimes (as noted in my review), but if one was prone to pity parties, the advice is good. If one is actually medically depressed or had an actual anxiety disorder, I think that section would be more harmful than helpful. If one can ignore the judgment, the tips are good, as a supplement to medication and therapy.
