Thanks for this review. What a great choice of book. I have to confess to being terrified of spiders. Nowadays, I can't even look at cartoon drawings of them. However, when I was about eight years old, I watched the cartoon version of this book, and Charlotte's death upset me so much I cried for about an hour. Wilbur and Charlotte's friendship is so sweet. I was so sad that Charlotte died and Wilbur lost his friend.
It's actually bringing a lump to my throat just thinking about it .
