Rach's Reading Club

Thanks, Jody. I love orcas. I read a book about someone who worked with them a few years ago, and it's stayed with me ever since. It was a heartbreaking book. The book I'm reading now (for this book challenge) also features orcas heavily, and I've just read about the different pods and transients and residents. They are just super-fascinating.

This book sounds interesting, but ever since I lost my beloved dog last May, I've been incredibly sensitive to any animal stories. So I tend to avoid them. Even though I'm reading two for the reading challenge.
