Rach's Reading Club

You always (often? usually?) say you like my reviews. I've never checked, but do wonder if you say that to everyone. Being too lazy to read what you say to others, I choose to pretend you don't. Though I don't see what makes my reviews so special. But as a good challenge host, it's fine if you do. You SHOULD make each of us feel special. It's not like you're the only one I tell good luck to or that you're doing a great job in TCC. But, of course, I mean it MOST when I say it to you.

Anyway, yes, listening to / reading his short stories might be a good way to get used to his style. Another way to go would be to just find an author you liked immediately. But I'm lazy and needed long books and scary books and didn't want books in a series. He fits all those categories...will, except the series, apparently, but 2 books is fine. But I really should investigate other authors for next year if I'm going to have to read more scary/paranormal/gothic/whatever stuff every year.
