Thanks for this review. This is a book I've read the blurb for a few times, and almost bought it once or twice. I'm just not sure about Kristin Hannah because I've never read her before. Is she a literary writer in style? The reason I ask is I've read a few books where the description and lack of actual action have been too much. (For example, Donna Tartt's 'The Goldfinch.') But I'm not sure about Kristin Hannah's style. I'd be grateful for your advice.
