Maybe it would have been better if you listened to Book 1 first Maybe Not.
As I told you in email, I find that in a lot of King's books *not all* but many. The first half drags and the second half picks up, so much so that you're glad you didn't quit, but wouldn't put yourself through that again. The same thing I said last stints reading club with Fairy Tale by King.
But then there are books of his that are exciting most of the way through: It, The Stand, Misery, The Greenmile, The Shawshank Redemption, The Shining (Yes, these are all older books, but there's decent newer books too... hmmm? )
