Rach's Reading Club

Okay, I think we only have to read 1 book for August, but don't we get extra rewards for extra books? If not, oh well. I "have" to listen to The Talisman now because I didn't realize it was book 1 of 2 and Black House, the one I listened to, was book 2.

Here's my review. "Note: Review: Black House by Stephen King and Pete..." I give it 4 stars. The plot was good, when it finally got there, but good God it took forever to get things rolling. If I was the kind of person who quits a book, I would have DEFINITELY quit that one! I'm glad I suffered made it through, but I wouldn't do it again...I say as I'm about to start book 1 of the questionable series. I'm not sure if I'm not a King fan, a Straub fan, or neither. But then, this was written over 2 decades ago, so perhaps their styles have changed for the better.
