I recently finished my longest story to date, which took me a lot of research, as I'm neither a historian nor from the UK or US respectively. But I got very little feedback so far, so it would mean a lot to me to hear your honest opinion! We can also discuss the science behind it, of course, as I spent a good chunk of time tinkering on that too. Troublemaker Quentin Jackson breaks a one of a kind Movie prop. In an attempt to replace it, he and his friends attempt a heist in a strange dimension that replicates the very film it originated from: An old British crime drama called "Murder at Blackwood Manor". Quentin assumes the identity of Police Constable Henry Bowker, and due to unexpected circumstances finds himself stranded there for the next 20 years. As if that's not enough he's suddenly married and stumbles from one near catastrophe to the next. All the while he's living through historic events and their aftermaths, and slowly transforms in ways he would've never believed to be possible. Can he escape his predicament and in the end, still remember who he truly is? Or does he slowly succumb to his new role?
