Noticing Newbies

Greetings martykate and welcome to WDC.   Who and why people read or review which items anywhere always seems to be a mystery.   Here on WDC you can announce your stories in "The Shameless "Plug" Page"  as well as using your notebook, which you did. For reviews, many will do a review if you do a like-sized item of theirs, plus you can Request a Review on some members' Reviews tab. Recent Review   examples is another place to start (also it's in the Left column). Reading and getting into the forums can get you acquainted with others that may have similar interests.

There's lots of other things to do on the site that helps your writing. As you stated, see what's here and what works for you. Hopefully, you'll discover it's great to have the benefits of one of the paid membership levels. "Compare Free and Paid Membership Benefits" .
