We're halfway thru NaNoWriMo, folks, and you guys are rockin'! As of 1140 WdC Time, the average word count for the active NaNo'ers was 28,741, which is well above the average daily count needed for success. On a personal-team note, the average word count for the group I'm sponsoring is just shy of twice that - 56,675! Put another way, if the words were converted to feet of altitude, that average would be nearly 1700 feet higher than the cruising altitude of the Concorde!
Speaking for myself, I'm doing better, but I need to kick it up a notch or two. Anyone friendly with a drag racing company that could be talked into 'donating' a few canisters of nitrous oxide for my word engine?
