Oh, hey, I get it that the military is a good thing. I'm not anti-military. I know it's a good place for young people to gain skills and experience, and excellent when they're looking for direction and don't know which way to go. Can lead to great careers in and outside the military. My brother was a mess when we were kids. He joined the army straight out of high school. I have no idea what he might have done if that hadn't been an option for him.

My comment was only meant that I wish we had peace instead of wars–wars and conflicts–which produce veterans.

––I started writing this last night, and now I have a cold and don't want to try to think about what I was saying. Maybe I was finished saying it? Oh, I know, I stopped in the middle of this post because I thought of a story and had to open another tab to make a note about it and never came back!
