I definitely don't believe that was really Robert. I assume it's Taylor under Robert's mask. I don't think Robert would be good enough of an actor to pretend to be Charles after suddenly being unmasked and remasked, especially when you consider how quickly Charles awakened once the mask was put back on. It had to have been a golem mask, nobody usually wakes up after putting one on that quickly. So Will fucked that one up pretty massively.

I would be moderately surprised if they passed the test, and extremely surprised if they managed to figure out any of the sigils beyond that. Just about the only way they could is if they either took control of Blackwell’s library, or somehow found and copied Joe Durras. If they copied Joe Durras, they both would have been infinitely more careful about how they handled things, and probably would be putting as much distance between them and Saratoga Falls as they could. And they almost certainly don’t have the knowledge or the innate skill necessary to even properly use the references in Blackwell’s library.

Anima bands are inherantly a risky proposition regardless, and even if they did unlock that spell, I doubt they would make use of it.
