It looks like you missed another suggestion--genres. The writer only included 1. That means they are missing readers, missing opportunities to be in Newsletters, and missing opportunities to win "The Quills" , should their item have qualified for nomination.

Genres are the #1 way people search for things to read. It's also how Mods choose Newsletter items. For Quill Awards, things are nominated, then they go into their genres as listed on the item. It doesn't matter HOW obvious it is, if a thing isn't listed for a certain genre, it doesn't go in that category of judging. So, since this only had 1, if it was in the Quills right now, it would only get 2 Quill options--1 genre and 1 or the thing it was nominated for--Best Flash Fiction or whatever. You can't nominate for genres. Thus, it's losing the chance to win 2 other Quills because there's nothing listed for those categories.

When you see a situation like this, you can make several suggestions easily. You can just click Browse by Genre on the left and, so long as you don't accidentally click the genre to go to it, you can scroll through it with no problem so you can find options to suggest to them. Go ahead. Try it now so you feel confident you won't lose your review.
