As
Angelica Weatherby- HappyVDay mentioned, you need to link the original review. However, I see the original review is only 448 characters, so it's not long enough to qualify. It needs to be at least 500 characters long for this. But since it's also required to have at least 1 suggestion or correction, if you had included one, you would have definitely made the minimim character count.
Though this review doesn't count, I'll demonstrate how to post one. I don't know if you know how to use ML code, which is what is used on WdC. If so, I do apologize.

But just in case, here's how.

You use the curly braces on your computer keyboard, located above the square brackets. After you type the colon, you do NOT use a space. There's never any spaces in ML code. You need the number for whatever you are linking. In this case, you are linking a review. The review number is in the upper right corner of your review. To get to your reviews, go to Portfolio (on the left side of the computer screen), then click Reviews. Or you can just click the Reviews tab once you are in your port. Again, I do apologize if you already know this.

The review number is the 7-digit number in the upper right corner of your review you wrote.

If you want to post a link to an item--story, interactive, poem, etc., you find the item number below the title. So, to post a link to the raffle, I type {item:2256964} = "
WdC 2023 Birthday Review Raffle - CLOSED"

.

Of course, bitem links create the big links (bitem = big item) you see on the Newsfeed.
Your review number should pop up automatically if you have decent a internet and computer. The same with any item, once you type the colon in the code, the item numbers of the last several items you've worked on should automatically pop up.

Anyway, to post the link to your review as
Review of "The note"
, you write {review:4709643}. Check out your review page to ensure you understand where I'm getting that review number.

You can practice posting code on the Newsfeed WITHOUT POSTING THE NOTE TO THE PUBLIC by typing your code, then hitting Enter or even the space bar. Just don't post the note for the world to see when you are practicing.

But the Newsfeed lets you "safely" practice code to see if you are doing it correctly.
For ideas of what kinds of things to post for suggestions or corrections, check out the dropnote Ideas for Review Suggestions/Corrections. I recommend the genre suggestion for anyone who is not comfortable telling someone when they did something wrong.

Also, I see your note didn't remark on anything in particular that you liked about the story. Maybe there's nothing you liked, but generally I can find something I like--word usage, description, interesting sentence, etc. It helps the writer know what works in the item so they can grow that part of their writing even more.

You basically gave a recap of the story with some commentary at the end. The writer has no idea what was good or less good about their story. I encourage you to help the writers with some information like that as well. It's not required for this raffle, but it's nice to tell them what they did right, if nothing else.
Good luck with your next post!

Let us know if you are still having problems. We definitely want everyone to participate who wants to.
