Reveiw of "The note"
"The note" tells of a husband who poured all his "lies" during his wife's life time, and even when she was laid in her grave. It seems the husband created so many stories that cover his inability to share his wife's "stroke" as well as when she died and as she lay in her grave. His great shame and inability to share his wife's illness weighed strong in his mind. Then on her death and as she lay in her grave, he found lots of ways not to visit her grave. The burden of all his lies did make him realize how much he misses his wife; by writing "The note" he hoped to lessen the heavy burden he carried because of all the "lies" he used when he did not share his wife's illness as well as his inability to visit her as she lay in her grave.

In life, we all find ourselves in this man's situation: make up things in order to avoid our responsibility toward our loved ones. It is a sad situation to realize that we have failed our loved ones; and that is why the man wrote "The note"; possibly to find forgiveness as he realizes the many "lies" he told, just because he did not comply with his promise to love and care for his wife.
