Uh, so I think you misunderstood what I meant by "consecutive." Yes, I did say you can jump across the years from December to January. (Not sure if I specifically told YOU this, but it's a thing I frequently say.) But technically, January 2019 isn't a consecutive month with February 2023. It needs to be February 2019. Now, December 2018 is consecutive with January 2019, so that's fine. But the most you can have is 2 years in the same set, but they can't jump around in the years, only cross from December to January. You can start at any time. You can do July 2022 - August 2023. But July - December are 2022 and January - August are 2023. I'm so sorry about the misunderstanding! But on the good side, none of your entries expire so you can go back and fill in more contests whenever you want. Just be sure to fill in the appropriate length contest for months you missed--if everything in that month is closed (so, short contests can only go in months when I highlighted other short contests) and try to enter the contests that were highlighted for that month you are entering for. That means you can't just pick random contests. A contest like Express it in Eight would technically count for June 2023 because that's when I highlighted a bunch of other short contests. But you can't use it for that month because there are other contests from June 2023 that have a current round open. Does that make sense? And, of course, only enter open contests and use the current prompt, not the one you missed from whatever round you are making up. It may seem like common sense, but I've had people do that as well. I know this is disappointing, but do you understand how it goes now? Don't worry. You can do this! I believe in you! All the other entries you did that don't count for the 12 consecutive months you decide to work on will be waiting for you to come fill them in later. YOU GOT THIS! And be sure to check out my challenge
