Motivate yourself to conquer your goals this week! Post on Monday; update us on Friday! |
So, one could beat oneself up for not achieving everything on a to-do list, but I'm learning not to do that. Here's what happened this week: 1) I did finish the final Hobbit movie and absolutely loved the series. Then I proceeded to find an Xbox 360 copy of the Lego version of the game at my library, so that's going to be getting my attention soon :) I also am about 120 pages into the first LOTR book of the trilogy, and I love it! 2) Did a lot of walking on Monday when I took the bus to work, but haven't done too much since. I need to come up with a way to make it fun, which will be great motivation. I did a LOT of walking when our library had a "Walk to Mordor" challenge. In fact, I think it's through the Stockholm Syndrome of the walk that I got into LOTR. 3) I still haven't quite started writing again yet. I don't know why this is so difficult. 4) The teaching gig fell through, though not of my doing. 5) Didn't quite get into the listening game, but I did start with Handel. 6) Did get a little better in the chess puzzles! It seems when I go slow, progress is still made, even more so than when I rush through. |
