"I Haven't Got All Day" WC299
Liz bit her lower lip. She looked across at Jordan and he had turned pale, except for his cheeks that were bright red. Liz waited for Mister Hadley, who she had the upmost respect for but at this very moment was her least favorite high school teacher.

Mr. Hadley "Okay Liz, we are almost done for the day. you can start at the line "Saints do not move", when you are ready and then Jordan, you say the next line. Alright lets do it."

Liz had the play all memorized, that wasn't the problem. The problem was she had never kissed a boy before. She felt like she was gong to die. Her voice faltered as she said the line.

Juliet

"Saints do not move, though grant for prayers’ sake."

Jordan quickly followed.

Romeo

"Then move not, while my prayer’s effect I take.
Thus from my lips, by thine, my sin is purged."

Jordan freezes and Liz stares at him wanting to run from the stage as fast as she can, but her feet are cemented to the floor.

Mr. Hadley jumps up on the stage "Listen kids, I haven't got all day.. Now is when Romeo kisses Juliet. Okay, Okay I see you're nervous. Forget about the kiss. Close your eyes and think of some place happy."

With their eyes shut, Mr. Hadley took his hands and shoved their heads together resulting in a big smack as their lips pressed together in a kiss.

Mr. Hadley "There we have it! Finally! Only you won't have me to push your heads together on opening night."

Liz opened her eyes. She smiled, thinking I actually kissed a boy.

Jordan smiled. thinking I'm a man now. I kissed a girl.

Mr. Hadley "The first kiss is the hardest kids, next line!
