"Natalie annoys me" I suppose I'm biased because I'm the one who really introduced her as an option and was one of the people who wrote that storyline but I grew very attached to Natalie and she became one of my favorites. Seuzz has said before that he thinks the more realistic option for most people who have the masks and book would be using them to steal the life of someone rich or famous and just live a life of luxury but personally I feel like what Natalie does is the most realistic way a teenager would use this stuff. A lot of stuff involves scheming and plotting that I think would be beyond most teenagers (but works in the context of a story) but Natalie's is harebrained and petty; the exact thing I could see a dumb teenager doing with this stuff. For an Ursula-focused storyline, start here: "Le Mat" although you may want to read the preceding chapters as well to get the context. I like Ursula a lot as a character (again, bias for characters I've had a large hand in developing) though I feel like I went too far too fast in the actual story and wrote myself into a wall. I've also felt like Seuzz is pretty ambivalent towards the whole oracle thing with her. My reason for doing it was that I felt like having three mystical charlatans (Ursula, Braydon, and Morgana) was a little excessive and the few times she shows up otherwise (I think when Will is impersonating Joe), there's a meanness in the way she's treated which never sat well with me. But like I said I like Ursula a lot as a character though I can understand the reluctance of others to use her. For other romance storylines, there's one that deals with Will and Izzy Santos in the storyline that introduces her, Alex Day and Rae Caldwell: "Get Him to the Guru" . Sapphic ones I can't really think of aside from the one Will/Sydney one where Will becomes Jelena and that's just Will and Sydney in masks. |
