The pre-existing max in the email settings is 500 emails per page already.
... Just go into your email settings and adjust from your 50. *Smile*
There've been a lot of options on paging size for quite some time.

The problem with infinite scrolling is that if you get down to say email 2,500 and you move away...
To get back to email #2,500 means you have to re-scroll all the way back down to that...
which I personally find super annoying in my iPhone mail and Gmail inboxes that don't offer paging.

Anyway... for now, hope noting that you can increase per-page sizing helps!
