- Would you review a novel in exchange?
Yes

- What if the word count is different? It's probably unlikely to be the same.
Word count is not that much of an issue to me. If the words, no matter how many, make sense and entertain, it can be more than my words.

- Comments about genre and content ratings?
Most of what I write falls into the Fantasy and Action/Adventure niche. My characters are all adult and they have consensual relationships that can get physical with some mentions of sensuality, but no graphic descriptions.

- Would you be willing to pay in GPs or other currency? How much?
I am willing to pay in GPs. If we come to a point where actual editing services come into play, I would be willing to pay US Dollars. The amount of money I would be willing to pay - if it comes to $ amounts versus gift points would have to be determined at the time in regards to how many words/pages and how much work is to be done.

- What's your timing? When would you have a manuscript ready?
Around February. Sometimes in February.

- What would motivate you? GPs, other currency, prizes, reviews in exchange, anything else?
Reviews in exchange. And if anyone has an exclusive merit badge that they would be willing to throw in after the reviewing is over, then that would be nice too.

I will read:
fiction of any genre
fiction of any rating

I will not read:
non-fiction
anything religious
anything political
true-crime
anything involving any kind of child abuse
anything involving unconsensual sex
gratuitously gory things

- Would you be willing to review chapter by chapter or prefer to read the whole thing and summarize comments?
Chapter by chapter

- Would you be willing to read a first/ rough draft for overall plot, character, setting problems and disregard grammar/ usage/ spelling and other technical issues?
I am not willing to read something that is only halfway done. If it is a first draft, it has to be a complete, finished story that is all there with a somewhat logical denouement and a resolution of the main conflict. If the author wants to end their story with "the reader should fill in the end," then I am not their reader.

Any other thoughts about the execution of this activity?
I am glad that you have posted this forum. I was thinking of something similar. I will put the forum on my favorites so that I can see where this goes.
