This writer is also listed on the log as a winner - #34 is Lonewolf Author IconMail Icon coming in right on the cusp of the witching hour. Good job!

The last of the trivia facts about numbers for this year, folks.
#34:

* 34 symbolizes strength gained through experience and benefits obtained through observation of people and things. It is not deemed exactly ā€œluckyā€, as its success is given through strife and trials in an earlier life.

* 34 is also the constant for a 4Ɨ4 magic square- a square filled up with numbers 1 to 16 where all the rows, columns, and diagonals add up to 34- a kind of magic Sudoku box if you like that sort of thing.

* Another interesting fact about the number 34 is that it is a semiprime, meaning that itā€™s the product of 2 primes: 2 and 17 in this case. 33 and 35 are also semi-primes by the wayā€“ those numbers are having a bit of a semiprime party at that end of the table.

* U.S. Route 34 is an east-west US highway that is 1,122 miles long (1,806 km) and connects north-central Colorado to the western suburbs of Chicago, passing through the Rocky Mountain National Park. Sometimes called the Trail Ridge Road- it reaches a height of 12,183 feet (3,713 m), making it the highest highway in the USA.
