In case you're wondering, some fun facts about the number 16:

* Sixteen is the only number with a format of x^ y= y^ x ( x and y being different numbers, that is 2 and 4). 5.

* Sum of the first four odd numbers is sixteen.

* The hexadecimal number system recognizes sixteen as its base.

* Old maps used to include a compass rose, to indicate the orientation of the map. It was quite common for these compass roses to include sixteen different points, which read as north, north-north-east, north-east, north-east-east and so on.

* There is an unincorporated community in remote Kentucky which is called Sixteen. An unincorporated community is an area which in many cases appears similar to a town but has no local government representation.

* There were sixteen different King Louises in the history of the French monarchy. King Louis XVI wasnā€™t just the last King Louis, he was also the last king of France before the fall of the monarchy in 1792.

* Sixteen is the smallest number with exactly five divisors, its proper divisors being 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16.

* In English speech, the numbers 16 and 60 are sometimes confused, as they sound very similar.

* Sixteen is the fourth power of two. For this reason, 16 was used in weighing light objects in several cultures.

* The sum of the first four odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7) is sixteen.

* The human eye can see continuous motion at around 16 frames per second.
