"Everyone please, quiet! I finally received a response to our inquiry. Qateer has determined why the fields are rotting. It seems in our complacency of trying to set up a unified area of this planet to allow all races to take advantage of the life-saving properties of the Quantum Tomatoes, we forgot to invite the one group we should have. Apparently, the Savion Worms of this world live below the topsoil level of our chosen agricultural fields. They have taken our planting, done without their permission, as an attack on them. We unknowingly destroyed one of their hatcheries.

"Qateer has opened up a dialogue with them. Through some tough negotiations, the Savion governmental body has agreed to stop destroying the tomatoes and has even agreed to help replenish the fields. They have assured us they will help make this solar year a bumper crop.

"For this, we have agreed not to grow any other item on this planet without gaining permission from them first. This will cover both public and private plantings. You may grow items in pots, but must receive permission from the Savions first, because they need to check your soil to make sure you have not enslaved any of their members.

"That takes care of all of our duties for the day. Please return to your homes or work. Contact the local Savion enclave to have your soil checked. Our next meeting is in three solar days. Thank you for coming."
