October Novel Prep Challenge

Most of my ideas come as response to other forms of media, like a background character in a book makes me think what life is like for them, or a throw-away character in a show or movie -- what was their day like before this "main character" blew into their life and mucked things up? Sometimes the news makes me think of "this one guy" enduring the harsh conditions being described.

I just now realized my ideas are usually more centered on character than plot. That's an interesting thing to know about myself haha! No wonder I seldom finish the plotting exercises. Okay. Need to go rethink things and question all my life choices lmao!
