Things do get better with age
For Writing.Com's tenth anniversary, I wrote this "Tribute"  Open in new Window.

Here I am, twelve years later and everything I said then still holds true. It only has become more and more better.

Since writing that post ten years ago, I have met more members from the site in person.
I went hiking with Dawn Embers Author Icon
Jeff Author Icon once helped me set up a computer.
In February 2022, Writing.Com royalty Robert Waltz Author Icon came all the way from Virginia to visit every single brewery in my town and a few more from surrounding areas and even that one on Catalina Island.
Sum1's Home Author Icon, who travels for a living has shared lunch and laughter with me a few times over the years. This April (?) we even met with Schnujo's Doing NaNoWriMo? Author Icon and QueenOwl ~ A New Day Dawns Author Icon for brunch.

Writing.Com was my companion for my third child's whole school career. I was on this site when he started kindergarten and now he is in his first semester of college. Nothing else on the internet (not even my email address) has held out that long.

Together with the most amazing The StoryMaster Author Icon and The StoryMistress Author Icon , we can all keep this site alive, vibrant, and our emotional and creative safe haven for many more years to come.
