Thanks for this review. I read the book last year, and I, too, fell in love with Kya. Delia Owens writes so beautifully, so movingly. I've been thinking about getting the audiobook for this because I would love to hear the accents as they were intended (as opposed to my English-accented southern- ness, which was interesting, but not accurate).
I'm looking forward to seeing the film, too. It has been advertised quite a lot over here, and every time I see it, I think I must see that!
