Every time I am reminded of Elizabeth and Darcy, my mind goes back to the very first time I read the book. It still amazes me how much I enjoyed it; with special mention about Elizabeth's mother; the number of times her character comes up in the book, and the number of times I thought of her as nothing but a "fake", compared in fact to her husband, who was just the opposite to her. In fact I admire the husband for being quiet and a truly good father to his daughters!!!! What a father!!!!

Then, of course, there is Darcy...
