Thanks for this review. It sounds like a real interesting read. Like you before this, I have never read any Karin Slaughter. But I dod have a couple of her books on my Kindle that I bought when they were discounted to 99p. I saw her speaking on a tv programme once about a murder that occurred near to where he lived when she was growing up. I thought, at the time, I want to read some of her work.
I can understand how this must have been difficult at times, and how you needed time to breathe from it.
